Throughout the design process, we were required to adhere to several specific requests by McFadden & Miller. These included:

• A Balanced Use of Imagery: Nothing better showcases a contractor’s abilities than a strong portfolio. McFadden & Miller wanted to incorporate images of its featured work throughout its website. Image placement was carefully balanced with blank blocks of color to create free space.

• Incorporation of Media and Animation: Because of the massive scale of McFadden & Miller’s design projects, video can often better showcase a property to the curious viewer. Considering this factor and seeking to add movement and flow to the site, TOS incorporated video extensively throughout.

• Strategic Copy Creation: McFadden & Miller required new site copy. However, the copy could not interfere with the site’s visual-focused design. We created clear, concise copy that was not over-complicated and fit well into the spaces specifically designed for it.

• Mobile Compatibility: Given the high degree of business now conducted on mobile devices, McFadden & Miller’s new site had to adapt to these platforms without subtracting from the quality of the visual media. Our back-end design was carefully coordinated to ensure optimized site performance across all platforms.
